My interpretation of a wintery morning down by the Birrarung, or ‘River of Mists and Shadows’ a stretch of the mighty Yarra River that runs through the heart of Warrandyte, where I live. The mist hangs around all morning, the crisp air and the quiet stillness of the forest broken by the joyous bird song, when the sun eventually breaks through.
