‘Dried Banksias in Pottery Vase’
$350.00
I have always loved to draw flowers. I drew them all over my school folders as a teenager and still love to sketch them when have a quite moment. This is a painting of three banksia flowers which have been sitting in in a pottery vase in my studio for quite a few months! The flowers have dried beautifully and now have a slight honey scent about them. The white pottery vase I bought in an op shop, and together they make a such a pretty picture, so I decided to paint them.
Painted in in acrylic with details in pigment ink, on A3 size, acid free watercolour paper. Framed in a black timber frame, made from Australian sustainable hardwood, with a custom fitted acid-free mat board, white with a black inner edge.
Free shipping within Australia, or can be picked up directly from my studio in Melbourne’s east.
