Charcoal and ink studies

Below are some photographs I took in southern Victoria. I find the patterns in the rock formations so fascinating, and they are the basis for much of my recent mark-making and brush strokes. Cloud formations also inspire some of the colours and composition of my work, as does the eucalyptus bark and leaves that surround me at home.
