'Treading Lightly'

'Treading Lightly' is a reflection of the peaceful and bushy part of the Yarra River near where I live, and is named for my desire to tread as lightly as possible on our beautiful earth.

I had some words in mind while making this painting, a quote from a speech by 'Chief Seattle' in 1854 "Take nothing but memories, Leave nothing but footprints"...

The painting has been custom framed in PEFC Certified Tasmanian Oak, an Australian sustainable hardwood, finished with a natural wax. A sturdy wire is attached across the back, ready to hang on the wall.

Dimensions inclusive of frame: 65 x 50cmx 6cm deep 

The painting is signed on the front and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.  It is also registered with the National Registry of Australian art and artists.
