A bit of a visual ode to Rothko's colour fields 'Highlands Rainfall' is reminiscent of my childhood, growing up on the outskirts of the NSW Southern Highlands, surrounded by dairy country, and beyond that, bush.  The colours of the land at that time were green and lush, frequent rains ensuring good pasture for the cows.   

Acrylic on watercolour paper, framed in a black Australian sustainable timber frame with acid free mount board. (shown in 1st photo - frame in 2nd photo is an insitu mock up only)
